We offer endless design possibilities combined with a low-maintenance extruded aluminum exterior and a naturally insulating wood interior. Lux has developed an exclusive extruded exterior design with a continuous perimeter brickmould, providing enhanced protection against air and water infiltration where conventional methods typically fall short.

A Closer Look at the Genesis Wood-Clad Windows Series

Solid Hem-fir interior construction is the perfect combination of strength and extraordinary elegance.
All Genesis windows feature four degree sloped sills and sashes. The sash cavity of all venting and non-venting windows, where water damage would potentially occur, is protected by a heavy-walled vinyl liner that migrates water to the exterior and does not allow the water to come in contact with or sit on the raw wood.
Extruded aluminum mainframe and sash offer greater structural capabilities to withstand the tough elements of nature and eliminate the need for painting. The aluminum is independently secured allowing the wood and aluminum to expand and contract without restriction.

Heavy-duty compression foam seal makes casements and awnings among the most energy-efficient venting windows.

An integrated 1/2 inch return channel on all four sides allows interior finishes like drywall to sit flush with the window frame, creating a clean, modern look. Lux’s exclusive wood-clad board return jamb features a built-into-frame channel, and is designed to prevent cracking and eliminate the need for caulking or additional trim pieces.
